At 09:58 am the Scottsbluff Police Department was made aware of an escape of an inmate on a work detail in downtown Scottsbluff. The escapee was identified as Aaron J. Wilder Jr. (07/11/2003). Wilder has been taken into custody as of 1115 hrs this morning.

At 9:55 a.m. this morning, inmate Aaron Wilder, age 21, walked away from an outside work crew in downtown Scottsbluff. The work crew was supervised by a Scotts Bluff County Corrections Officer.
Officers from multiple agencies are actively searching for him at this time.
Wilder, age 21, was last seen wearing a blue jail-issued uniform.
Wilder is being held on a variety of misdemeanor charges and is not considered dangerous.
Aaron Wilder Jr. is age 21, 5’9 165 pounds, brown hair, brown eyes.
