KANSAS CITY —Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes wrote a statement on social media in response to criticism after ‘liking’ an Instagram post from former President Donald Trump.
Brittany defended her support for 'liking; the Trump post, and standing up to "haters for not healing from issues they had from childhood."
She wrote,"To be a hater as an adult, you have to have some deep rooted issues you refuse to heal from childhood. There's no reason your brain is fully developed and you hate to see others doing well.”
Patrick Mahomes and the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs open the NFL season Thursday in Kansas City against the Baltimore Ravens.
