An elderly woman from Alliance, aged 63, has been detained after a probe carried out by the WING Drug Task Force in June.
Vanadelle Buckingham, also known by the aliases Cynthia Hunziger and Cynthia Tschacher, is accused of selling hydrocodone pills to a confidential informant on several days in 2023. Investigators sent the pills to the NSP Crime lab, who confirmed the pills to be schedule 2 drugs, and a warrant for her arrest was issued last week.
She was booked into the Box Butte County Detention Center Monday, and is facing two Class 2 Felony charges of Distribution of an Exceptionally Hazardous Drug.
