Sept. 3, 2024 (Gering, Neb.) — Weather permitting, work will begin Sept. 16 on N-27, from reference post 90.00 to reference post 110.00, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Paulsen, Inc. of Cozad is the contractor for this project. Work includes asphalt milling and overlay and permanent pavement marking. Traffic will be maintained with lane restrictions and a pilot car and flaggers. An 11-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is Oct. 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
