Sept. 10, 2024 (Lincoln, Neb.) — The Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) announces the overnight closure of westbound I-80 between Kearney (Exit 272) and Elm Creek (Exit 257) on Tuesday, Sept. 10, and Wednesday, Sept. 11. The westbound lanes will be closed from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. each night but will remain open during the day.

Westbound traffic will be detoured from Kearney to Holdrege.
