Sandra L. Morrison, 82, of North Platte, passed away on March 6, 2026, at Linden Court.
Sandra was born on May 3, 1943, to Vernon and Elizabeth Jameson. She was one of six siblings and grew up in the Sandhills, graduating from Tryon High School in 1960. She later attended business school in Denver, where she married and had her first son.
After the passing of her first husband, Sandra returned home in 1962. Not long after, she met the love of her life, Robert “Bob” Morrison. Together they welcomed two children, Monica and Brad. The couple made their home in North Platte, where Sandra joined Bob in operating Snell Services.
Sandra and Bob enjoyed traveling the country in their RV with a close group of friends. Later, they spent winters in Green Valley, Arizona, and summers at Lake McConaughy, making many lasting memories with family and friends.
Sandra especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed watching them grow up, particularly following their golf games. She also enjoyed golfing with Bob, gathering with friends, and sharing an occasional Bud Light or two.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Morrison; her parents, Vernon and Elizabeth Jameson; her in-laws, Bus and Darlene Morrison; her son-in-law, Troy Knoedler; her sisters, Lois and Marie; and her brothers, Gary and Terry.
Sandra is survived by her brother, Tom Jameson; her children, Todd, Monica, and Brad (Brooke), all of North Platte; daughter in-law Deb Morrison; sister in-law Susan Jameson; brother in-law Dan Hokens ;and her grandchildren, Jason (Tonya) Morrison, Jesse Morrison, Chad (Diane) Knoedler, Derek (Shina) Knoedler, Kasch Morrison, Karsen Morrison, and Chad Triplett, plus several great grand children.
Memorials for Sandra may be designated to a charity of the family’s choice.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, at Carpenter Memorial Chapel in North Platte.
