Kearney, Neb. - Kearney Volunteer Fire Department (KVFD) was dispatched to 220 Yanney Avenue for the report of a &nbsp;structure fire. While in route, dispatch advised that the house was almost fully engulfed and there were no occupants in &nbsp;the structure. Upon arrival KVFD established command and began fire attack. 

A water shuttle operation was &nbsp;established for water supply. The fire was brought under control at 20:03. The State Fire Marshal was requested to &nbsp;assist with the fire origin and cause investigation. The cause remains under investigation, but the preliminary &nbsp;investigation results indicates the fire was accidental and was caused by an electrical event in the area of the living room &nbsp;on the first floor of the home. The home is a total loss. 

Other agencies assisting at the scene were Buffalo County &nbsp;Sheriff's Office, CHI Good Samaritan EMS, NPPD, &amp; Black Hills Energy. No injuries were reported.
