ORLANDO, Fla. — A recent North Platte St. Patrick’s graduate is taking the stage this week at the Miss America’s Teen Competition in Orlando, Florida.

Gabriella Swift, a 2025 graduate, is representing Nebraska at the national event, held at the Walt Disney Theater at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

The competition is part of the larger 2026 Miss America and Miss America’s Teen events. Preliminary shows for the teen division began Tuesday, with additional talent preliminaries scheduled for Thursday at 4 p.m. CT. The finals will take place Saturday at 6 p.m. CT.

Miss Nebraska, Makinzie Gregory from Gering is also in Orlando this week competing for the Miss America crown.
