Nebraska Department of Transportation
(North Platte, Neb.) — Weather permitting, work will resume March 31 on Nebraska Highway 25 (N-25), from reference post 92.68 to reference post 104.67, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Werner Construction, LLC, of Hastings, is the contractor for this project. Work includes bridge repairs, guardrail remodel, asphalt overlay and earth shoulder construction. Traffic will be maintained with lane restrictions and a pilot car with flaggers or temporary traffic signals. A 12-foot width restriction will be in effect. Anticipated completion is Nov. 2025.
The purpose of this project is to preserve the transportation asset, improve the reliability of the transportation system and perpetuate the mobility of the traveling public.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
