Yankton, S.D. – The North Platte Community College men's golf team completed play at the Mount Marty Invite in Yankton, S.D. on Tuesday. Knights finished the tournament in 12th place to begin the 2024-25 season.
Sophomore Taytom Timbers led the way as he finished 13th in the field with a 36-hole score of 147. Timbers had his best round on day two totaling two birdies to finish the round 1-under par.
Treyten York carded a 6-over par second round to place 55th in a highly competitive field. Caeson Clarke and Cole Kramer finished the tournament 17-over par after improving upon their day one scores.
Knights will travel to Fort Dodge, Iowa where they will compete in the Iowa Central Fall Kickoff at the Fort Dodge Country Club on Sept. 9.
