March 1 is the priority deadline to turn in a scholarship application for the 2026-27 school year at Mid-Plains Community College. More than $1,000,000 worth of scholarships are up for grabs.

The scholarships, which include academic and program-specific awards, are designed to make higher education more affordable and accessible for students across the college’s service area.

Current and prospective students can apply online at https://mpcc.awardspring.com/. Because the scholarship platform is connected to MPCC’s system, students must first complete the admissions application to receive their network login credentials.

MPCC Director of Financial Aid Erinn Brown said the online portal simplifies what can often feel like an overwhelming process.

“Once students log in, they can see the scholarships they qualify for and track their progress all in one place,” Brown said. “If they receive an award, they’ll be notified through the system and can log in to accept or decline it.”
