Ogallala, Neb. — The Ogallala City Council will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 9, at City Hall to consider license renewals, financial reports, and a chicken permit request.
Council members will act on several license renewals for contractor and plumbing work, including gas fitter, master plumber, right-of-way contractor and sewer contractor licenses for John C. Piepho.
The council will also hear financial updates from the city clerk-treasurer, including the August 2025 financial report, and review minutes from both the special and regular meetings held Aug. 26.
Under new business, the council will consider a permit application from Daniel Nelson seeking approval to keep 12 chickens at 205 L&L Court. Project updates from the city manager and reports from council members are also expected.
The meeting will open with roll call and a public forum before closing with council and staff reports.
