COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Chadron State College women's basketball head coach Travis Brewster has been suspended for three games due to CSC's forfeit against Adams State on Jan. 20 in Alamosa, Colo., the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) announced yesterday.

"The choice by the Chadron State women's basketball team to voluntarily forfeit the contest was unacceptable and contrary to the RMAC Philosophy Statement, Ethical Conduct Policy and spirit of the game. The decision was also wholly unfair to participating student-athletes. As a result, Chadron State head coach Travis Brewster shall be suspended for three games and the program shall be fined $5,000 for the violation. The RMAC Office would like to thank Chadron State administrators for their cooperation in this process.

Chadron State College accepts the RMAC's decision and will continue to fully cooperate with RMAC officials.
