Nebraska women's gymnastics head coach Heather Brink announced the hiring of new assistant coach Montana Rall on Tuesday.

"Over the last few years, I have watched her step into roles that have allowed her to evolve and grow her technical expertise throughout her developmental coaching career. She cares about her athletes and is dedicated to helping them achieve their goals. Her enthusiasm and passion for Nebraska Gymnastics will undoubtedly shine. I cannot wait to see the impact she will have on our team and family."
Rall has spent the past three years as a choreographer and lead beam coach for Omaha Gymnastics Academy, contributing to more than 29 regional titles and 12 national qualifications. She she was also a head coach for Metro Stars Gymnastics (2019-2023), Girls Competitive Team program Co-Director and and head coach of Rowland Ballard Gymnastics (2017-2018), coach of Amplify Gymnastics (2016-2017) and coach for Nebraska School of Gymnastics (2009-2012).
Rall competed for the University of Kentucky (2013-16). She was a staple in the beam and bars lineup for the Wildcats during her career. Rall was a two-time member of the SEC Academic Team in 2014 and 2015 and was a member of the SEC Community Service Team in 2015.
Prior to her collegiate career, the Nebraska native attended Lincoln Southwest and trained at Nebraska School of Gymnastics under coaches Tim and Rachel Garrison and Tanya Gifford.
Rall’s primary responsibilities will include the lead coach on floor, assisting on vault, time management planning and overseeing strength and conditioning.

Rall earned her bachelor's degree from Kentucky in Kinesiology and Exercise Science in 2016. She is married to her husband Jesse and has two sons, Ryker and Jagger, and a daughter, Winslow.
