Ogallala, Ne - Pheasants Forever Inc is hosting a FREE longest rooster tail feather competition in Keith, Perkins, Deuel, Garden and Arthur counties through January 31st. Eligible individuals take a picture of the public access Open Fields and Waters Access sign with the bird, and of the tail feather against the official yardstick, which is available for free at establishments in Ogallala.
