HERSHEY, NEB . - This week, our first of two Sandhills Post Area Game of the Weeks will take a 13-mile trip west for Thursday Night Lights between the (1-4) Hershey Panthers battling it out with the (3-2) Chase County Longhorns with kickoff set for 7:00pm central time.
Hershey is heading into this Thursday night battle on after falling to Mitchell last week 42-7. Hershey's lone win came on September 8th when they defeated Centura 29-6. The Panthers is slightly leaning more on the pass attack than the rush attack. So far this season senior quarterback Cooper Hill has thrown for 604 yards with his top target as Kaden Thompson who has 25 catches for 301 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Chase County is heading into this week after defeating Gordon Rushville 27-6. Last week, the Longhorns finished the game with 227 rushing yards while junior Thomas Reeves led the team with 147 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns. Junior Tuck Hubbard led the team defensively with 15 tackles with 2 for a loss.
